The mission of the Christian Formation
Committee is to provide spiritual education, utilizing
the teachings of the Catholic Faith, for all members
of our parish with strong emphasis placed on the
children of our parish.

The Christian Formation Committee
will work cooperatively with the Director of Religious
Education to plan, implement and evaluate parish
education programs in the areas of pre-school
through adult education. |

• Recruit team members
for Children’s Liturgy of the Word |

• Continue and improve Children’s
Liturgy of the Word |
| |

| |
• Continue to develop
Adult Education programs |
| |
• Integrate Youth Group with more
social and religious activities |
| |
• Encourage catechists to obtain
archdiocesan certification |
| |
|
| |
• Hold teacher training
classes during the month of September |
| |
• Hold Tri-monthly meetings of the
Christian Formation Committee |
| |
• Prepare classroom charts with
rules and consequences |
| |
• Meet with the leaders
of the Children’s Liturgy during Liturgical
seasons |
| |
• Invite a parent from each grade
level to be part of the Committee |

St. Anthony was born in
Lisbon, Portugal on August 15, 1195, feast of the Blessed
Virgin into heaven. He was baptized in the Roman Catholic
church and his parents gave him the name Fernando.
