What does our ministry do?

Provides the community spirit and hope with uplifting music

Enhances the overall liturgy

Encourages parishioners to participate during Mass.

Provides music for all funerals and weddings

What are our goals?

To continue to increase the participation of our parish family

To maintain the participation of our 40+ member adult choir

To increase the membership of our 15+ member children's choir

To get young people involved vocally and/or instrumentally

Provide proficient instrumental as well as vocal music at all services

What kind of commitment is required for adult choir membership?

The choir rehearses every Wednesday evening at the Center Road Church from 7-9 pm from mid-September to mid-June.

The choir sings every Sunday at the 9:30 liturgy.

They sing for special celebration services (i.e. Lent, Easter, and Christmas) as well as occasional concerts.

They also rehearse a half-hour prior to any service in which they participate.

What kind of commitment is required for children's choir membership?

Typically, the age range for members is 6-12 years old. From grades 1-8.

The children's choir rehearses Mondays at the Center Road Church from 4:00-5:00 pm.

They will sing regularly at 9:30 mass at Center Road Church.

They also rehearse a half-hour prior to any service in which they participate.
