Mission

This gathering of parishioners and clergy strives to make the Eucharistic celebration the center of the Catholic, faith community’s unique encounter with the Risen Lord. Primarily, at weekend worship, the community truly becomes “church” and all its activities and ministries find their meaning and sustenance in the celebration of the Paschal Mystery.

Various special liturgical and para-liturgical worships are fashioned by the committee. The committee develops liturgies for children at 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday; remembrance Mass for deceased members in August; parish feast celebration; Mass for parents of newly baptized infants; communal anointing of the sick; Lenten devotions to name a few. It is the challenge of the committee to interact with all parish ministries and organizations so to celebrate “around the altar” the richness of the virtuous works each group offers to the faith community. Chairperson: Wanda Luciani-Kesses.
