2024 Coats for Kids

Dear Parishioners,

Please support the 10th Annual “Coats for Kids” program organized by the Knights of Columbus  in Our Lady of the Assumption parish.  Last year, we raised $14,000 and delivered 1400 coats to families, schools, parishes, and service  organizations in Ansonia, Bethany,    Bridgeport, Milford, New Haven, Wallingford, West Haven, and  Woodbridge. A box of 12 new, stylish coats costs about $260. If you would like to contribute any amount,  please mail a check by October 23 (payable to Trinity Council #5467) to: Mr. Frank  D’Ostilio, 3 Blue Trails Drive, Woodbridge, CT 06525.  This will enable us to obtain the coats and distribute them by  early November.  Since the program’s 2009 inception, one million coats have been given to children in the  United States and Canada, including at military bases, Native American communities, inner-city neighborhoods, and local police departments. Contact Frank D’Ostilio (203-641-7082) with any questions or suggestions.   Thank you, Tom McCaffrey
