Ushers are the first official representation of the church that people meet as they arrive.
They offer a friendly, welcoming presence to those coming to worship.
They prepare the gifts that are taken up to the alter, take up the collection,
assist during an emergency, help to seat people when the church is crowded, and hand out weekly bulletins.
Volunteers can be high school age and above. Community service hours can be earned.
